Return is a methodical construction of the approach of an individual towards an unseen goal, which assumes metaphorical significance. Viola moves toward the camera/viewer, pausing every few steps to ring a bell, at which point he is momentarily thrust back to his starting place, and then advanced again. Finally reaching his destination, he is taken through all of the previous stages in a single instant and returned to the source of his journey.

Episode 1: Misa, who has a dissociative disorder because of her father, finally gets married to her current husband, Yuu's father. The next night, another personality of Misa reappears, and she enters her stepson Yuu's room, possessed by something, and attacks him. Episode 2: Haruko, who thought Masaru was friendly with her son Akira, took good care of her. However, Masaru is a friend tormenting Akira, and he reaches out to her friend's mother. However, she also feels the touch of a man she hasn't felt in a long time, so she knows that he is her son's friend, but she can't shake it off, and she develops a secret relationship with Masaru.
